Agora is a family-owned company located in North Texas, serving clients locally as well as across the United States.  We have over 19 years' experience providing credit card processing solutions to businesses of all sizes. Our passion is working with small to medium businesses to help them improve their processes, save money, and increase revenue through a complete business management solution.  We provide full installation, training and ongoing support for all of our clients.  Whether you are looking to replace your existing point of sale system, or are looking for ways to take your business to the next level, we want to apply our expertise and passion to helping your business succeed!

Chris Hamilton
Owner, President

Chris is the co-owner of Agora Technology Solutions LLC alongside his wife, Amy. Chris has worked in the payment processing industry since 2001, serving businesses, non-profit organizations and healthcare providers. 

Chris and Amy founded Agora to focus specifically on helping small to medium businesses.  Chris' passion for working with business owners led to finding and developing solutions that assist with virtually all aspects of business management - going beyond simple point of sale systems that focus solely on credit card processing.

Chris began his professional career as an attorney, practicing law in Memphis, Tennessee, before moving into business.  He worked with several software development companies before entering the payment processing industry.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis School of Law.

Amy Hamilton
Owner, Vice President

Amy co-founded Agora with Chris, with a focus on providing installation and training support for our clients.  Additionally, Amy is responsible for the accounting and administrative aspects of the company.

Amy has over 15 years' experience in restaurant and business operations, both in management and accounting.  She brings a keen understanding of business processes, from inventory controls to labor management. This expertise allows her to work with clients in a variety of industries to better utilize their point of sale system.

Prior to joining her husband in forming Agora, Amy worked as a staff accountant at B-29 Investments, LP, and in restaurant management at Winstar World Casino.
